I like the image of flames, Edwin. Being a bit on the older side these days, I prefer the image of a flickering, but persistent candle flame to a bonfire. Joy seems to hold on, firmly to the soul even in spiritual gusts of wind. It weathers the storms of everyday life. It bends and flickers, but does not go out. A bit like the trick birthday cake candles, that refuse to be blown out... ;o) Warm regards, John.
