"A poem begins in delight and ends in wisdom."
~ Robert Frost, poet (1874-1963)
Looking ahead while crusing the canals, there seem to be new discoveries around every bend. Here the water was so calm, one would be hard pressed to tell which way is up! :')
Best viewed at full size. I made the file 1024 x 768 in case anyone wanted to use this one for a desktop image. Cheers!

Robert Frost began in New Englander's gnarled and biting spite and ended, like Emerson, in utter nonsense, which he named "wisdom". Merely by the way, Nietzsche had a high opinion of Emerson. That is easy enough to explain: he read him in German, which added several dimensions. The common phrase is "lost in translation," In that case what was found in translation was either not in the original or phrased so clumsily it was worthless. Oh the image--superb depth and composition, with a hint of spiral and Fibonacci, elegantly presented.
