Description

I was at the beach last summer near Tokyo. It was rather hazy and Fuji was not visible. To my great surprise I suddenly saw a shadow in the shape of the mountain. As the sun set further it was revealed to be a "Diamond Fuji"--so called when the sun sets over the peak. This was taken moments later; you can see the shadow of the peak projected forward as the sun set behind the mountain.
