From 34000 feet over West Virginia, my seatmate inspired a creative poet, long since dormant, and a curiosity long forgotten. For the hour of our flight my heart wanted none other than the lonely and quite lovely college student sitting the mere 16 inches of a seat away. But for my heart, she might as well have been on the ground waving as I flew overhead, for I could not summon the courage to so much as speak.
