About the graffiti: my consolation is that it is on the door, it can be painted over, not on the stone work or worse, on a XIV century fresco as I saw in Perugia, Italy (only once thankfully as this is another magnificent city). I thought of taking it out with Paint Shop Pro but it made an ironic statement right under the 'Rue Tranquille' street sign. After saying that, please don't assume that Perigueux is a city of hoodlums. It is a quiet place and we had nothing but good time there.
