Is`nt human nature funny .You put a cover over a pic and curiosity gets the better of you .Yesterdays pic became the highest viewed since I joined lol :o)..We got a peliminary moving date yesterday ,15th December ,there are just a few things need sorting before we can get the keys ,mainly just checks to make sure everything is safe .Leah the liason woman is meeting us Monday at the property so we can get measured up for carpets and so we can get a feel for the place empty and get an idea where everythings going .I`ve arranged most of the jobs for the family ,decorating ,carpet laying ect .Good job we have professionals in the family lol :o)
I`m not sure the yellow works with this ,although thats how they are in the vase .
I have been looking and will have time over the weekend to catch up a bit :o)..Thanks for looking and take care

I like your shot, you captured so well the flower "presence" and volume. Clear and interesting. Thank you.

Wow, LOVE the colors and details--and how exciting to be able to have everything new when you move in!!

Well first off lets hope they confirm it as a move for the 15th, you only have 9 days to get ready for Xmas then, so it will be a bit of a rush. I for one was hoping it would be sooner so that you got settled. Fingers crossed for you mate. I have to agree with your doubts here Mick, it looks like you have three yellow blooms next to the main subject, I think it over powers the main flower. It is a first class macro though Mick, excellent clarity and detail, it would have been a good one for November's forum challenge. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!

How cruel of you to stuff this flamenco dancer head first into the vase! What did you do with the legs? Super shot, so clear!

OMG. A first. I'm actually going to disagree with Jeff! (The world might come to an end soon.) I love the carnation against all that bright yellow. It holds its own quite well, and isn't overpowered at all. Just think of how this might look if you isolated the carnation and toned down all the yellow. The carnation would look dull. With the brilliant yellow, it just pops!

The color of that flower makes me think of something old or antique but nestled in the bright yellow it seems to represent the "younger" protecting and caring for the "older." Fabulous work. And you are lucky your family professionals have the correct skills! I have professionals in my family but not much use in applying professional Goofballs to anything! :-)

Superb flowers..especially the colors! :)

The detail and colour to the main flower is amazing. Excellent macro Mick. BTW I have to agree about how peoples curiosity gets the better of them whenn we use the Advisory content, One of mine in my gallery was covered by the moderators but it was a shot of a fluffy squirel biting my thumb and of course it should be classed as violent content - it has far exceeded anything else of mine with 321 views to date lol.
