One lucky kitty to have you to care for it. Tragically, our city shelter just put to sleep 50 (maybe more by now) cats and kittens because of an outbreak of feline distemper. As of 2 days ago, only 10 of their cats were left and maybe those are gone now too. Stunningly, only 4 or 5 days before that, they had so many animals they were short of space and ran a "holiday sale" - 1/2 price to adopt any animal and still get all the coupons and services of a regular adoption at full price. I almost went down to get a cat. That wouldn't have been very good for us since we already have an old and feable cat and a new and infected one would have killed them both - and broken my heart. Enough sadness - this shot makes me smile. It is a happy, well mannered and poised kitten. So adorable.
