Description

Very simple illustration, isn't it? But it was my worst nightmare... I had just Anime Studio Pro 5 and I had the idea to use a nice dance animation render created with DAZ Studio. But the problem was, that DAZ Studio don't use alpha channel in a movie, even if you use the right codec. It was my luck, that Anime Studio Pro can import image sequence. With a happy feeling I started to render the animation in PNG files. But that was not easy, since DAZ studio didn't like Vista 64x! It was a nightmare to render a 2 minutes movie... But I did it, after a week. I could put 2860 PNG files into an animation, with a lot of tricks... because (of course) Anime Studio can't handle 2860 images... Everthing was done by me, even the music. The dance animation was done with the help of 'aniMate' from DAZ. The animation was a test... so don't take it too seriously, I have not the best music taste... I hope you like it. You can watch this animation on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUVioMb1FWk I advise to watch the YouTube movie on a better resolution...

Great job, man! I am into animation too, so its good to see you do some cell-shading in an animation. Wow, sounds like a lot of work, but it turned out really well. I would love to hear your review of Anime Studio and AniMate. I wonder if AniMate is really useful. I have my doubts about that. I also wonder if Anime Studio can really produce a good anime look and feel. I subscribed to you on YouTube. I'm animatigital over there.

Despite the frustations you encountered with your project, you stuck with it and created something very cool.
