Man, this thing is huge! Love the modelling, love the scenery, but let me make one remark: though you've payed attention to the dirt, there's not enough of it. Especially on the pipes and those things he's standing on. O yeah, and the shadows could be just a tiny bit softer, but that's just personal taste. ;)

well perhapps there is someone there who likes to keep the place real clean! :) And yeah, the shadows are way to dark, use GI by using light dome, or Brazil R/S or some such. Will look real good.

Looks dirty enough to me. It's at the repair bay, I expect it's just had a good buffing. Pretty cool though. I agree with the shadow thing, and it's hind of hard to figure out where te back wall ends, and the floor begins. Maybe you should use a different texture on the floor, and the gap in the middle should be filled with shadow.

Great picture. Excellent textures and modeling. I agree with the comments about the shadows. Maybe you could put in some people, Give it the extra sense of size. Good work

wow mecha design, i love it, the model is superb manga style then is beatiful for me. Try to change some texture and use multiple lights with less power, diffuse the shadow and the finl result is perfect for a 10. great Bye bye MgraFx

Excellent work. Contrary to some, your shadows are fine. Take it from a photographer. It's clear that your robot is in sunlight. Shadows only soften in sunlight as the object moves "further" away from where the shadow falls. In this case, it's obvious that the robot is close to the wall. So, the shadows are sharp as they would be in real life. If it was implied that it was overcast, then the shadows would be softer regardless of distance.

I love the new look for the future storm troopers. I agree with amapitodd (I would love to see one rendered out with the sun slightly off center)

Personally to me everything is fine...just one thing is really missing; scale factor. We know this thing is huge but it needs one or 2 people standing on it or around it, maybe say on the catwalk, the ladder to the catwalk, or on the ground looking up....you know like an inspection staff or someting....just to emphasize the scale. Still very nice...9.8
