Description

Pasting up an old quicky made for a Vue class so that I can say 'thank you' to everyone for your support during my operation. I'm here and alive :) I am not feeling well at all though. I've talked to people who got up after 3 days and ran marathons (kidding, but they felt fine) and I've talked to others who just ached for a week. I only know one other person who is experiencing what I am and that is horrible pains from the gas they inject you with for the laperscopy. I ended up in the emergency room via ambulence on Wednesday morning. My chest and pancreas were exploding with pain and it did not stop for 4 hours. They gave me 2 doses of morphine and another shot of a drug that enhances the potencey of the morphine. I was finally able to relax. I felt pretty good on Thursday and took my first shower (you can't have one until 2 days after surgery but I was in the ER all day and ill). Woke up Friday morning at 5:30am with the same pains as Wednesday but only about 1/8 the pain scale. Still it took my breath away and only goes away after a half hour of burping up gas and sitting upright. Very painful. Same think happened today that the same time. I'm afraid to go to sleep but I am soooo tired. Typing is hard because I keep misspelling words and going back. I'm a bit anal and feel the need to correct them, lol. Sorry that I sound so depressing but I really wanted to stop by and thank you all and let you know tht I'm still above ground. It meant so much to me.

I'm very glad that you made it through the surgery with no problems. I'm sure that this discomfort will pass and you'll be right as rain well before Christmas. I'll say a prayer for you tonight. Rest and get well.

The good news Nancy, is, it will get better and you will not be in so much pain and agony. The first week can be uncomfortable and then it does get better. This is a gorgeous creation with wonderful colors and spikey mountains. They must represent the pain you have been feeling. Hugs (gently of course), Bunny

I feel for you, that must be awful - but it will pass.. I know you're strong and you can handle it - still I wish I could take the pain away, hug you , whatever... the image seems to reflect pain, well done. Get well, my thoughts are with you.

Well done on the op Nancy, now you are on the mend, although lots of discomfort for a little while. You will start to feel better very soon and Christmas will be more enjoyable. Love your alien terrain, thats the spirit! Hugs.

Well what ever you think, it is a spiffy scene. As Bunny said, the pain will go away and believe me it is better that the gall bladder pain you experienced. Keep burping and whatever :o) and don't be afraid to sleep, sleep is the best thing right now. :o)

You girl should take it easy and not hanging around the Internet and posting wonderful work. However that said, the Morphine had also a good effect on your work!!!

Neat Alien-scape and it looks like there is some sort of exodus going on, probably moving to greener pastures ? Glad you made the op. but that gas sounds nasty...hang on, burping...burpee ? maybe your body is having a bit of fun at your aka name ? Why not use 'spell-check' for your anal moments ? LOL & ~Cheers~
