Mark, what a Lovely gift and words of sentiment for Jodie. Grand mothers are my favorite people they are the hardest for me to say so long to. Mark , if you dont mind I wrote a song a couple summers ago and People ask me to sing it at the gravesides with my guitar. It seems to have a good cry but healing sense about it. you may copy it and give it to Jodie if you think it would be any consolance. It is sung with a scottish-air and i play it in G on the 5th fret w/capo for a scottish instrument sound. Its sort of a slow march beat to it. I can hear the bag pipes in my mind. My grandmother was my dearest friend ! I can feel Jodies loss! but if I didnt believe I'll see her again, I would of never stopped crying. (((((((((( Jodie)))))))))) "Farewell My Friend " Today is so Dreary, The skies overcast With a promise of rain in the air. While I stand above you, All dressed in Black. With some ,of your friends ,from way back. Farewell, my friend, Until we meet again Farewell,my friend,Until we meet again Memories Flood us, In stories we tell. We laugh, While the tears, flow down. Then all eyes shift,To the peeking sun. Like a sign that hes taking you home. Farewell, my friend, Until we meet again Farewell,my friend,Until we meet again A soft breeze whispers,Your prescence is here. Bidding farewell to your friends. Then after they've covered,Your casket with ground. The wind whispers, A job well done! Farewell, my friend, Until we meet again Farewell,my friend,Until we meet again A Job Well done ! Dear Mark, Thank you so much for this beautiful image. To me it is a simple and lovely rose with a shamrock in it for luck! Perhaps this is what inspired Kevnarose to sing her Celtic ballad for us! This simple rose seems as though it is preserved in speckled Jade forever within a tile for the hearth. I love it and it is an honor to view and receive it for my grandmother. Thanks again!

Wow. Yet another touching and heartfelt image, presented with the sort of humanity that the world seems to be lacking. I love the sense of color here; though blue is often such a "cool" color, there is warmth here that is quite appealing; I think it's from the choice of more muted tones of blue. The impressionistic dabs of color work beautifully here as well. In short, the whole image is superb. In a way, it reminds me of a stamp: a kind of royal or ecclesiastical seal. I love that "ancient" quality of it.
