Thank you for stopping by and for viewing my work. I am a mother of three wonderful stepchildren, a wife to a loving and supportive husband, and I also work full time. I have no formal training in art, but from a young age wanted to be an artist. The problem was I wasn't any good at drawing or painting. I couldn’t translate from my brain to the paper/canvas what I saw.  I did have other talents, singing is a passion of mine, I sing in the shower and car every day. (grins) I also dabble with stain glasswork, scrapbook, stamping, embroidery, needlepoint and the list goes on.
December 2006 I found Daz Studios and for the first time was able to at least get some of the images I saw in my head out. But it wasn't as easy as it seemed. Nothing good ever is. I started posting images on Renderosity and met some wonderful people who invited me to join a group of people who all used Daz Studios and so my learning increased. We now have a wonderful forum called Daz Artist Guild dedicated to helping people who want to improve their skills using Daz Studios.Â

Positively, wicked! Hella well done all the way!

Both images convey that 'lonely' feeling very well but it shows clearly that this one is made by a far more skilful Artist! efron_241 (Chris) let us look back to our past and that was a nice thing to do indeed. Now I want you to cast your view into the future.. See through the fog of all that days to come and imagine you are a year in the future now.. What image will you see then? What will you have learned then? There is only one condition.. Render ON!!!

Gorgeous work on both images, I do like the artistic effects on this one!

It is lovely. It looks like it was drawn by hand and done in colored pencils, excellent.
Lunastar
Really beautiful. I like the effect. I keep trying to find time to do this.

I really like this one too. The pose is more dramatic and I like the artistic effects you've added.

Her expression says it all, the backgound is beautiful (as it was in the first), it really stands out though. Your artistic effect gives me the impression of seeing her through a window. Very beautiful work!~

I like the look to this one very much and yes I did look back at the first. Not long ago I thought about redoing an older image. Not sure about doing it though.

Fantastic scene and pose, excellent work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Realism is not necessary for this piece - the slight abstraction helps one to focus on the emotion. And the posing, expression and general composition REALLY reinforce her sadness and loneliness. This is absolutely brilliant from my perspective - instant FAV!

Posititvely stunning! Very evocative of the mood and emotion shown and I love the slightly washed effect you've given it. Very nicely done!

I see you've changed the pose from the original. You have improved so much since that first render. Beautiful work!
