Good one! Captures a time and place and tells a story. Very clean and easy to read. Excellent posing, clothing, gesture, props. Well done depth of field (not so easy to do well) and good lighting. Has that warm, buttery sunlight I love in your work. Two things I'd change: 1. Turn off shadows for 1 of the 2 light sources to avoid double shadows. 2. I'm bothered by the fact of the grungy prop - yet the "ground" is pure white (no texture, no grunge). This makes your figure stand out wonderfully - but wouldn't a very overexposed (almost pure white) simple ground texture be more convincing? About double shadows and such: The thing about highlights and shadows in the scene is that they imply light sources and conditions outside of the frame. So those have to be handled almost as if they were visible to make the most sense to the viewer. Very impressive scene!
