Description

Morning all :o) Our heating is on the blink again ,something different this time .The water pumps packed in so the radiators are cold upstairs now :o(..I intended burning this lot when we got the keys for the new house in case there was anything else to get rid of ,but I had myself a pretty big bonfire last night :o)..We are nearly done packing up ,there are boxes everywhere stacked up in corners of rooms ,mainly the big stuff left now .Ashleigh got upset last night when she went to bed because her bedroom has been dismantled apart from her bed .She took some time going to sleep as her million and one teddies had been packed up .She is more affected by this move than we are ,she really does love this house ,but I think she will soon settle in the new house once we get her bedroom walls pink and her teddies back in place :o)..I can`nt wait now ,its like being stuck in limbo . Thanks for looking and take care Mick

A fabulous warm shot, looks to me like you have given it a longer exposure here Mick, great result! I know the limbo feeling only too well Mick, but maybe for other reasons. I imagine it will all be worth it in the end. It may take some time to get over all the upheaval but these are the nightmares you will one day look back including young Ashleigh and say with a smile, "remeber when we.......lol!

Fantastic fire shot Mick. Kids have hard time let go a comfort what they got use to, but in a new house new memories will be collected soon and so much fun pack all the teddies out to make a room warm again.

With only one neighbour left Mick you can't upset anybody by having this bonfire, although it must be a nightmare being the last one out so to say. I'm sure as Alan says in years to come you will have nothing but good memories of this time in your life. As for the heat upstairs I would be straight on the phone to the council for electric heaters off them, especially at this time of year. This makes me remember when Emma was born and we didn't have central heating then, there was over half an inch of ice on the bedroom windows and that was on the inside. I had my right leg in plaster from ankle to hip and was stood on top of the front porch knocking a hole in the wall for a balanced flu for a gas heater in her bedroom. The wall was 14" thick and no cavity, its a wimpy 'no fines' house(that is concrete but no sand in the mix). Not long now mate hope everything comes together for you. Superb capture, I like the slow shutter speed of this, makes the fire all the more warming. Bravo!!!!!!

Beautiful pic Mick, really superb job of capturing this flame. Sounds like your still trying to get everything ironed out and I hope soon Ashleigh will be in her new home and have all the teddies spread back out where they belong.

A programmable thermostat can be a game-changer in regulating your home’s temperature efficiently. Set it to lower the heat when you're not at home or when you're sleeping, and program it to warm up the house before you return. This helps save energy by preventing your heating system from running unnecessarily.

Some advanced smart thermostats even allow you to control the temperature remotely, offering more convenience and energy savings.

The first step to a warm home is an efficient heating system. Whether you rely on a furnace, heat pump or radiator, the key is to choose the right system for the size, insulation and climate of your home. I chose a heat pump. The team of A Plus Heating & Air heat pump installers near me https://aplusheatingair.com/heat-pump-installation did the necessary work very well. And you know, these modern heat pumps provide better energy efficiency and can save you money in the long run.
