Ah! Looks like you got a fair bit of snow too! Beautiful capture, cows are such quiet animals. I loved the thumbnail too showing the beautiful soft nose! Thank you for your visit George!

OMG!!! I can't believe it!! You have strip-ed cows by you too!! Last year a friend and I went exploring a new area he had just moved to here in Jersey. It was a rainy day and as we traveled down this narrow country road there near the street side of the fence (how they got there I'll never know)were three striped cows stuck in mud! My friend told me they're not cows but pigs... I said "first off if their pigs they are in the guiness book of records and second I know a cow when I see one!" I made him back up a good quarter mile and sure enough there they were. One of them was looking at me like, "Hey if you're not going to help move on" I so regret not taking a picture. While we never found the exact place where we saw these guys again, we did find that there is a farm nearby in Bedminster NJ that is home to the "Altavista Belted Galloways". Well if this just isn't a hoot!! Gosh, I've been vindicated not once but twice!!!! LOL
