A bit sad for the season, but then it's much closer to the truth for millions of people then the scenes of plenty typically shown at this time of year. At least there is still a curtain fo sorts to the window. Or is that just window dressing? (-: Wonderfully seen and captured.

(can only catch up slowly, but this is a good place to start)...this was a fav for me the minute you posted it: another of your eye-grabbing captures of texture & form, with surfaces that are genuinely bursting with life, even though they're decayed; wonderful textures on the right-hand wall, and wonderful interplay of rectangles and rotted wood on the left, with empty window-panes & those slate-colored boards in the windows, and a feeling of both decay as well as intricate visual life. You've once again captured "doomed" architecture & design, but shown us a great deal of life inside it. I think it bristles and radiates even while it's grayed and decayed. I agree with koosie about the decay, and all the others about the shot. It's wonderful & a definite fav.
