Thank you all for your comments. I'm new to uploading to Renderosity, which is why the image won't open up to full size when clicked on. As a non-paying member, I have only one upload per day. I will get the hang of it and plan on uploading a photo every day. I am an amature photographer with only self training. I recently purchased my first DSLR (Canon Digital Rebel XTI. Oh my gosh! Welcome! What a great addition you are to the community! I adore the anhinga - the snake bird - a totally unique fishing bird, and you've done a quality shot if this one. So gawky out of water and so graceful underwater. I find this totally stellar work. :-) The tunneling effect from the lighting is great and the natural framing is too.

Excellent shot of this strange bird ( Darter or Snake bird as they are known) I think? Anyway well done and welcome to Rendo! You have a great camera to learn on, the more you shoot the better it gets. I say if using your camera is like tying your shoe laces, so you can do it without looking at any of the buttons, then you have got an edge, you just have to concentrate on the image in front of you!
