Description
This is a photo taken at Annapurna base camp in the Nepalise Himalayas. It is of a memorial for a climber who lost their life trying to reach the summit of Annapurna 1 - 8096 metres in 2006.
The memorial is adorned with Buddhist prayer flags that express compassion to the fallen and their families.
Annapurna 1 is the mountain behind the memorial.

That's such a stunning photo..and I seem to remember reading that Annapurna is a more challenging climb than Everest, despite the lower summit height..it's such an impressive mountain. You look like you are having so much fun wandering around the planet's attic;-)
