Description

Made in Vista Pro, tweaked in Photoshop, used a couple of filters. I want to thank everyone for stopping by to view my work. Thank you to all of you who left a comment on "Is it Cold Yet" they are fantastic, loved reading them. And thank you to those who have favored my work, I appreciate it. It has been a bit since I last posted. To catch you up on what has been happening to me. Nov 11 went to take Sherry to her back surgery (which went quite well and she has recovered greatly) I didn't make it-made it about 7 miles and I was feeling bad, returned home, Sherry's brother took her while I stayed behind sicker than a dog for three days and three days trying to get over it while beating off my son who kept trying to mother me and get me to go to the hospital. Got to visit Sherry in time to bring her home from the hospital on the 18th of Nov. Got home and then Sherry's brother took sick, my daughter took sick (after coming home from the New Kids On The Block Concert), Sherry tried too, then of course I got what ever it was, after visiting my mom and sister in the ER, where both were hospitalized for some virus. Got well after about a week and then I have been busy getting Sherry and Bill moved to Kentucky so they will be close to their mother who I moved just before Sherry's operation. So I have been running back and forth and had not planned to post till after I catch up the e-bots?, any way could not help myself. Hope everyone is doing ok, cause I several of you out there are having problems a lot worse than me, which I could help more, but will place you in my prayers. Stay safe and have fun.

Glad to hear Sherry's back surgery went well and she is fine. It does sound like you have had a bad time of it with whatever you had, lets hope it is all over with and you can get on with the holiday season in fine faire. :o) Great landscape and fabulous textures.

A nice use of VistaPro. I still get mine out for the occasional, very quick render, but have taken pity on my PC, and no longer have it run overnight churning out videos of power boat runs around Vista Pro islands. I like the grey mood here, Rick. I have tried playing about with the textures but seem to just end up making a clashing hash of things... ;o) I am sorry to hear that you have been having problems. At one time, earlier this year, about all the 45-50 regulars, including the parish priest, at our weekday church services were either going through the mill, or their relatives / neighbours / friends were. Over a dozen cases of life-threatening cancer, one young lassie with a broken neck ( now bouncing about like Tigger! ), depression, heart and valve problems, very sick children, newly discovered special needs etc. A very trying time, but we all persevered, and came through the other side, but it does leave a physical weariness even if the spirit is joyfully refreshed, and bolstered by the Spirit. I will remember Sherry, and your family in my prayers, Rick. Take it all one step at a time, and don't forget your own self, especially if everyone else all rely on you. God bless and keep you all, John.

Excellent render. Hope you families health issues are behind you now. You have my full sympathy and understanding on the 'bug' front. I have just spent the last three days in bed semi conscious. This is my first proper day up - mind you, the cats are pleased that I am now remembering to feed them again. :-) Anyhow, good health to you and yours now and in the future. Take care.
