Description

I took this image this past weekend at a mall in Kansas City when I was doing some christmas shopping...the first thing I thought of was warmth...I was thinking what it would feel like to be on a beach this very minute seeing this image*smile*...right now it is very cold here and we just had 6 inches of snow but of course before we had the snow it was a ice storm first...so we have snow on top of the ice...My imagination didnt last very long because I walked back outside and got a blast of cold..LOl..It was good while it lasted...Hope you all enjoy.. Thank you for visiting my gallery and for any comments you wish to make..

Beautiful find and capture. I get more of a soothing tranquility from this image. I could sit here for hours just listening to the sound of the water playing with the stones. Awesome.

It doesn't take a pro to take stunning photos. Next time you come across running water try a couple of other tricks. If you have a tripod, use a slow shutter speed and see what it does to the water. A very fast shutter speed will stop it altogether. GREAT SHOT.

A lot of action here! I hear you about the warmth. Where is that sun? We did see a little of it today and yesterday. Hope it returns tomorrow. ;o)

This has a wonderful affect on the water falling and the composition is great. Snowed in Galveston last night... That hardly ever happens!

Oh boy, don't tell me about the ice storms! Two yrs ago I was coming from Houston, going to KC... in Houston was an excellent weather, about 80 degrees, I was wearing short pants and T... when I got in Dallas it started getting chilly, as soon as I reached OK line, it started raining, by mid-OK the rain transformed in ice, and that's what I got all the way to KC... Good shot here, great composition!
