Description

Still at Blea Tarn this view looks across to Side Pike which is the large rock formation in the background. There is a lovely easy walk around Blea Tarn..well easy when is hasnt snowed. There is also a not too vigorous walk up to the top of Side Pike.Those who do the Side Pike walk are rewarded with a wonderful view along the length of the Great Langdale valley.There are also great views the other way over Blea Tarn and towards Little Langdale. Kids can do this walk eaasily but be warned there is a shear drop on one side of Side Pike. great place for a picnic though
