Hi Friends
Please note that this is a Swaziland zebra and not as well trained as the South African ones!!! LOL... It was late afternoon and this zebra was not interested in posing, in fact, I think she was slightly irritated with me photographing her while she was enjoying an early dinner as is evident from the grass sticking from her mouth.... As you might notice - she was highly pregnant at the time... just about to pop!

I think Fidelity2 likes it:) I always get itregued when I see images of Zebra, we always assume they are black stripes, when in fact seen clearly here to be dark brown, a wonderful image Carin.

An animal's coloring should work to camouflage them...never have been able to figure out how this works in the case of a Zebra. Certainly doesn't help against a background of green. Excellent shot. Like her expression but she is about as inscrutable as the ladies at the market the other day. Bill

A title worthy of a California surfer, and I don't mean the Internet. Stellar stripes, clean and crisp, adorn this magnificent soon-to-be-mother as she indulges in her daily repast, Carin. Eating for two, I would surmise. I like her eyes and the stiff-brushlike tuft between the ears.
