Description
this idea has been sitting around since the early 70's. it started out as a pen and color ink drawing that was never finished...so i decided to try my hand at it in 3d mode. it's a nice first attempt, but i have a feeling that i'll be revisiting this idea in the near future.
figures posted in poser, cast adrift and lit up for all to ponder in vue 6, and frosted in CS3.

the idea is great.. but it seems one would not look like that when the glass is gone in vacuum... the face would look a bit less like a face... it's not like going to sleep.. it is like a monster mymic.. if you have seen Total Recall.. the movie with the gouvenor.. it looks a bit like that.. you open up.. so to say other than than great Art Work

true, and your point is well taken. this is not meant to be a literal concept, hence the effluvial mist dissipating into the void. the literal idea has much less interest to me. it's meant to express something other than that.

Overall, I like the image. Sometimes, I have to remind myself of the concept of artistic license. If art was an literal depiction of our universe, then it would be called science.

I like the concept and the execution very much. And who wants to see an amorphous mass of tissue pulp slobber out of the helmet anyway...? ;)
