Tian Loushi Mei Hua {Perfection & Grace}
Smoking Dragon IV
Each drop of rain is like the ticking of a clock, a second hand moving backwards, and with each movement she drifts deeper into the memory of the way she was before.
They called her Tian Mei Hua {Sweet Plum Blossom},
once considered by most, the epitome of perfection and grace.
A most promising initiate at one of Chinas premier Kabuki theatre groups, whose destiny they say had been written in the stars, that one day she would be queen of the Kabuki and rule the stage.
It was said when she danced and sang the air filled with the sweet fragrance of the plum blossom's.
Now she only has her memories, as the others who live and work in the pleasure district tease and taunt her, calling out to her in passing, "zao shang hao wu tian loushi mei hua, yan yu ren" {Good morning my sweet plum blossom of the slum - Loves Fool}.

Hello all and thanks for viewing. Once again Im trying to learn more bout working with lights as I feel they can make or break a picture. Also too trying to learn more about obtaining better skin tones so any feed back in these areas much appreciated. Thanks much and have a greate weekend Steel

sooo the dress.. super the texture is fantastic you are learning fast and well... the shadows are soft and fit well which light type do you use mention it in the next image.. spot, point or overall tell us the settings and we can give advise

I just used basic lights with one spot point up from left to get shadow on fan and one behind pointing down on hair. Also one spot pointing back to light up drapes and petals. just added a touch of color to the lights

The lighting is great. Skin tones look fantastic and I love the texture on the dress. The storyline is , in a way, very sad but holds the interest well.

Beautifully lit. Shadows are softly placed,excellant work. The story line is sad, and does hold ones interest well. This is truely breathtaking work. So moving.
