Description
Another challenge entry at ImagineFx the challenge is Renaissance. I wanted to show the war between the church and science. worked to fast and in to short of time but I got it in. Would have liked to work on the woman some more to fix face and hand. and had a lot more aircraft to add. sigh, not enough time.

there's a huge amount going on in this painting for it to be a rush job. i think you did very well considering how much you accomplished. what i think is interesting is we're given a POV from the camp of science, which is attacking the Church (as opposed to the other way around).

Thanks cobaltdream. A lot of artist, writers, scientists and others were threatened with heresy in the yearly years of the Renaissance. just wanted to show a point of view that not everyone would agree with.
