I don't understood why the NRA or so many of those who support gun ownership would be so solidly (blindly) behind Bush. Armed resistance to the government requires FIRST questioning the government.

Very sad but true. The idea, that an armed population will be in any better position ton get rid of a dictatorship government, than an unarmed is ridiculous, and even more, if they are´nt able to comprehend what´s wrong. On the 2nd of December in 1978, 2 Million Iranians were on the streets to get rid of the Shah regime. They weren´t armed but the military felt their determination(How many do you wanna shoot? 10.000? 50.000? 100.000?, nobody will leave). The military was helpless and they retreated. Or think at Gandhi. That´s the way to make a revolution. Violence only justifies the oppression from the officials.

I think the NRA have been playing too many video games.... you know the ones where aliend from the planet Xerox have invaded Earth, decimated the armies, and the only thing that can stops them are guys with guns..... oh yeah and a few girls with big breas.... uh guns, yeah girls with guns. so, maybe less video games and maybe more rationality... hot image, hotter message!
