Yes, I do remember them well. And, er . . what exactly is that they're eating? Haha! Love the "Rilly, rilly." It captures that dreamy state where everything seems to sparkle. Another sweet one, Rozanne!

Great idea, Rozanne. Flares, Cider-champagne, fondue, dinner dances followed by a chinese carry out ... 'o( To quote Maurice Chevalier 'I remember it well.. ' I notice that Hamish the Haggis has made his first appearance. I can feel a mini-series coming on... ;o) May you and your family have a wonderful and joyful Christmas and all manner of good things in the New Year. God bless, John.

sorry I'm late, but this is wonderful—a real evocation of those days, and I agree with f.christophe that some people are perfectly boring (though the lady in your drawing is smitten!). Another one of your delightful characterizations with your wonderful freehand, those big yearning eyes, your always festive sense of color, and that crazy sweater on that guy (man, where'd he get that thing! is it alive, or is he just a flamenco dancer?) And that meal, with the eyes? A living sausage? A fish with major issues? (Or maybe a fish who hasn't evolved yet???) That's one fierce lookin' piece o' food! (An ornery yule log? A really large slug???) Love it. I love your drawings. A great holiday to you, Mme. artist, and may it shine through the whole next year for you and those you love!
