Description

I can't believe I misidentified this as a DAZ Studio render. The initial posing and setup was done in DS, but it was tweaked and rendered in my beloved Bryce to take advantage of its superior Radial Lights. Rather than change the post info of the original render, I took advantage of the chance to try some lighting adjustments suggested by NetWorthy. I needed to tweak the overall light scheme in order to make it work, but I think it came out rather well - what do you think?

To be honest, this looks quite dark on my monitor. However it looks from what I cansee, to be an awesome piece.

As The Bryster mentions, it's dark on my monitor too. But I think the darkness enhances the overall feel to the work. Well worth the extra effort to port it over to Bryce and your use of radial lights. I really like the piece. Would work well for a book cover, inside illustration or poster.

The light across the trolls upper body and face - as well as the arm guards are all much better in this image. Well done. Never considered how to make 'molten hot iron'. Did you use True Ambiance?

Very well.....Bryce is a wonderful program I play with it now and then haven't done anything pose worthy.I won't say anymore for the fear of sounding dumb but since I installed a newer version of DS It doesn't have the option to save to use in Bryce...If someone ask I'll just say I didn't say that but how do you do that?...........................Excellent work.

Much better, the subtle additional lighting really helped bring out this scene.
