Description
I've been watching this young tree all year. I've waited throughout the entire autumn for it's leaves to fall and they still haven't Now there is snow and ice everywhere, and I'm wondering if they ever will. I guess that the older trees, in their harsh way of survival, didn't to tell this little one that it's leaves need to fall during the winter. So, I wrote a poem of inspiration for it.
Have courage, stand tall
But do not be afraid to fall
For you will rise up great again
And having learned, you’ll surely win
Greatness is your destiny
I know you’ll be forever free
And better than all those around you
Leader of the many and few
Make goals, dream high
Upon yourself you must rely
And make sure that you always try
Even when not satisfied
Chin up, look alive
For the highest you must strive
And in the end you will succeed
But make sure that you don’t gain greed
