Description
Another process from the archives today, although I did shoot something new and interesting earlier which will probably surface within the next day or two when I find time to have a look at it...
I didn't know this guy when I shot this, but shortly after we had a little chat and I found out he was with the RAF, just on a day trip to St Andrews from the Leuchars base to try out his brand new Canon 40D which he seemed to be enjoying. I told him to go check the castle out ;)
Had a good play to try and bring out the textures of the rock and make the man stand out.. somehow feel I could have done more but I'm happy enough with the result.

Fit into your trade mark Adam. Nice details on a rocks, good cloudscape, excelent compo with guy. Is the sky been replaced?

cheers Tunde, no sky wasn't replaced, but before opening in photoshop I tonemapped it to bring back some of the brightest highlights... then later applied a graduated multiply blend to it to darken it a little.. =)
