Description

Been trying to catch the moon this month with some success & some failures. Oh well it's all a learning curve. Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Thanx for your comments & favs on my last uploads. Have a wonderful Week / Ralph

Well you chose the perfect time of year to take these shots. For this month the moon was the closest it would be to the earth all year. I got out there on Friday and it was too cloudy to see her. And when I did I didn't have my camera grrrrrrrrr. But I did get some nice ones last night. Last month was special as the two planets near the cresent moon was gorgeous (and it won't be around for another 60 years...well that kind of leaves me out of a second chance LOL)but mine didn't come out so well as I didn't have my tripod with me and they were blurry.. so my friend I bow to you for taking such outstanding pictures!!! The polar cap on the moon looks like a starburst!! That is a fantastic capture all on its own.

Excellent shots Ralph. Somehow, I've missed getting to see your uploads for a week or so. I've got a moonshot up a few days ago myself. Same experiences...some successes, some not so goods...blooming clouds tripped me up the night of the fullest moon this month. Bill
