Description

This is a picture of the wall of icicles. There is not a stream or creek above it. It is water that flows right out of the rocks. When it is warm out, the water just drips from them. What occurs is that water pools in the cracks of the rocks. When they build a road, sometimes they cut through the layers and expose the cracks that are in the rock which causes the water to flow during the summer and freeze during the winter. This is from where I took the Ice Plant picture from the previous post. It is an amazing sight. Thank you for all comments and all previous comments and favorites. Bronwyn

WOW! This is incredibly beautiful. Nature always provides numerous opportunities for art but too few of them are seen and appreciated. This, however, provides a fantastic glimpse into the natural processes of water seepage, and the profound, artistic potential it contains. Fantastic work, brilliant sense of color and the POV is spot on.
