Description

Another WIP, I finished this weekend :) This one I started in September, after we found out Hurricane Ike had destroyed virtually all of my daughters belongings. It was a very sad time for her and us, like so many others in our area. I was feeling a little blue for her, and this is what came out. Thanks for looking and commenting on this and previous images. I appreciate your time and thoughts. Again please view full size if you've got time :)

A great image! Lots to read into it; and almost tells a story on its own! The skull adds an eerie touch to the ladies bored expression; she's beautiful though! Also, the bird seems to be perhaps yelling at her for something, and she appears absolutely oblvious! I like that attitude indeed!!!! Wonderful scene and composition!

I love the lighting and pose, as well as the attention to detail; the rocks make it look more photo realistic. It makes me wonder how far gone she is that she is not bothered by the human skull on the left.

Fantastic mood and scene, the pose and glum look are perfect, as is the grungy setting. It must so suck to live in hurricane alley, it's tough to loose everything you own!
