Description

A bit of fun with the Fear Factory. I would not have got this set if Carpo (3dfiend) had not shown me what a good job Carrara did of importing the obj file. I still needed to re-do every material but having all the textures in place is a good start.

Not the character you expect to find here - but that adds a certain creepiness to the image - wonderfully done!

Definitely has a "Welcome to my parlor, said the spider to the fly" vibe off this. Good job importing to Carrara. It's something I've been having trouble with myself, particularly getting textures and UV maps to cross over.

Awesome set, and that ground fog/mist looks absolutely real! The red light creates a perfect color wash over the background areas and really highlights the fog, giving it a nice gradation of color to white as its closer to the camera. Excellent depth, very nice render!

The .obj's do do OK again. I'm hoping The 7 improves on the beta for the poseables. I used to reorient the eyeballs and make clear lenses in 3 and then that didn't work in 4 but 5 did Jessica and then for a while 6 did poseables.

Excellent work - all that has already been said and well done on building up the material settings.

Looks great! The industrial look to the environment, paired with the gothic character and off-kilter camera make for a fantastic image!
