Description

I model stuff like this all the time, but after putting hours of work into getting them this far I don't know what to do with them. Sometimes I plan on making scenes to put them in but never think of one, other times I don't even bother saving them. I figured I'd post it because it's just been so long since I've put something in my gallery. The tree branches were made with dryad, my new favorite tree creator. The image textures have been living on my hard drive so long that I have no idea where they came from anymore.

This is beautiful! It certainly stands on its own ... it doesn't need a scene to make it worthwhile. I'd love to see more of your work. It's been too long!

Dude! Thats alot of twigs. I like your soft lighting and realism. A simple photo background would bring this one to life.

Thanks, guys :) I probably won't be animating the tree, that's pretty hard to do with models that are imported as objs from other programs, and I didn't really like Dryad's leaves, it doesn't really offer enough control over them. I haven't actually tried running it offline, so I don't know if that works, and the version that I've got is pretty old, anyway--dunno if they've updated or not. Maybe I should check, they might have better leaves...
