Description

An experiment in atmospherics and textures..the low fog is created by rendering two spheres in a volumetric cloud preset, with slight adjustments to fuzzy factor and specularity. The terrain texture is a customized photo texture from cgtextures.com.The trees are arbaro trees from jrcejaspulido, the foliage is a bryce preset. The buildings are created from preset shapes and a custom lattice terrain, rendered in more textures from cgtextures.com.The figure is Victoria 3 from Daz3D,with a skin texture "Violet" also from Daz3D,and wearing freebee clothing from Aery Soul. Thanks for viewing and any comments you wish to leave!

Dramatic use of the atmosphere, Neil. The depth and distance portrayed here seem to suggest her journey to the village in the distance to be a long and ardous task. Foliage and textures are used very well.

You've done beautifully on this composition, using the various gimmicks Bryce has to create wonderful atmospheres and lightings. It's fantastic work!

This looks very mysterious. The composition looks very good, as usual. Maybe the ground seems a bit empty? Good work!
