Description

that makes them pink. It's the beta carotine in their diet that makes them pink. At least that's what I read ;) Thanks for stopping by. My previous upload, "Workin' It". Thanks for the comments and faves. Oh boy, I've been a busy little elf. So I haven't been in RR much. I have been baking, baking, baking... So far I've made about 8 pounds of fudge, 28 dozen cookies and helped the family make about 33 dozen tamales. Tonight I am making oatmeal cookies... probably about 8 dozen. And my list continues. I hope you are all enjoying the Christmas season. Hugs, ~Melinda~

I've done the fudge and nearly 10 dozen cookies (I hid the fudge but the cookies already disappeared!!!)Next up - rum balls and breadpudding and I plan to do those when no one is around and then hide those too! I wish I could make tomales - I love them at the holidays but I don't often find homemade in the stores. Flamigos are indeed lovely as your excellent shot shows. Very nice shot!

Beta carotene? An amazing bit of information to add to my mental archives. Super keen capture of the flamingo fishing for food, Melinda! And your baked goodies sound extremely yummy.

Oh and it's true, I saw a bird park in Durban South Africa where they had to adjust the feeding content just to bring back the color. Excellent capture.
