Description

Another photo of the Dhaulagiri's, of which Dhaulagiri mountain on the right is the 7th highest montain in the world at 8196 metres. Taken at sunrise from Poon hill (3100 metres) in the Nepalise Himalayas. Thanks to all for having a look at my pics from Nepal... Please be aware if you decide to visit Nepal that there are many modern day pressures being put on the habitats and wildlife of this poor country. Using a responsible tour company will ensure a good percentage of your money will go directly back into sustainably managing the nature reserves and profiting the poorest people directly so that they see their forrests and animals as an asset ! Thats another fine shot you've got me into! Looks like its going to be a beautiful day. It must have been so uplifting watching this beast of a hill coming to life at dawn like this. The air looks so clear and the quality of the light is obviously very special. How could you ever drag yourself away from this setting? We post our pictures here to show them off and get critique, I wouldn't waste my time trying to criticise this, whats the point, when the subject itself is just so staggeringly in your face. Big well done mate, I'm so jealous.

I do wish I had more time to comment your previous photos shot in Nepal, and am looking forward to doing so when I am on holiday. This particular photo, like most of the former ones are truly fantastic treasures.
