Description

Snow Day in Klamath California is so rare and so cold but kinda cool really and looking like we just may have a white Christmas after all here, Wow Who would a thunk it. This is a shot of part of my Front yard of my Home here out in the woods called Hunters Creek. A small Burb in the forest. The snow has been coming down on and off for 2 days now, and considering I am at sea level, this snow for the west coast is very rare this far south, not to mention it was also the first storm of the year here and that makes it even rarer to boot. I know it is not much as some of you all have outside your home, but here? for me? this is awesome, but Oh so very cold right now BRRRRRRrrrrrrr.............. Thank the Universe I got my Septic Tank in 2 days before the storm hit, or I would not have been able to live here as it would have been just to much a hardship with no water, toilet and so on. As it is, I am warm, dry and comfortable to the Max. Cool side note to the Septic. I used to have a 500 gallon redwood septic tank. I now have a 1200 gallen Concrete Septic Tank, so much better hahahahahahahahahaha...Funny thing is, it is big enough to make it as a Bomb shelter, well was, now it is something else hahaha. Thought I would share a few Photo's, hope you guys do not mind me doing something different and sharing some of my humble life with you all. Looking for someone to share the rest of my life with up here if you find any takers, ya'll know how to contact me /winks........As I said a while back the bears look good up here now and that is very scary to me ROTFL. /giggles

Geez, you got neighbors up close! And a nice, store-bought fence! Cool digs. The snow is pretty. I once had a place in the wild country - with NO neighbors in the forest at all - that had no toilet inside or out. We constructed our own and hauled off the waste every 2 days to a campground 30 miles up the road that had a disposal there. Wasn't too bad but not having a working well (the water we hauled up was red with minerals and had an oil scum on top) or electricity was difficult. Only lasted a year there before moving further into the woods to a place that had water, utilities and a dadgum toilet inside that flushed! Woo-woo! I thought we were really coming up in life. LOL

It is surprising sometimes just how much the simple things in life can make a difference.

Hay all a small FYI: Haha yes the dogs love it here very much here, and are having a gas in the snow. First time in the Snow for the girls, and was funny funny watching them in it for the first time, and no I forgot to bring my camera out when I let them out in the morning, Ooops.. Yes there are a few neighbors around me, maybe 30 in this valley all told. And they are all close friends, so it is more like we each have our own space and visit each other. We a close nit family here, have to be way out in da woods. Haha and that store bought fence? I made with me own hands as when I got MotaMo when he was a Pup I needed a run for him fast, so I built a fence all around the homestead so they could have a killer run and protect my Assets hahahaha. I also have a 600lbs+ bear that hits the apples every night as well next to me, and a 250 lbs Cougar walked down the street there about 5 months ago so having friends close not to bad at times. And they let me play my Rock-&-Roll music as loud as I want, so What-Da-Hay good /smiles.....I play some wacky lead guitar sometimes and been playing for over 34 years now. I play 12 instruments in all, but lead guitar is my Fav. /chuckles...Maylock

Looks good to me, I'm a snow lover...I used to have a friend who lived in Ft. Klamath, Oregon. I don't know if that's anywhere close to you, I know there are a lot of "Klamath" site names around. It was not far from Crater Lake, and very beautiful there too. Glad you got your septic sorted before it snowed, now you can just enjoy the winter wonderland!
