I've always said roses are hard to capture because they're so easily made 'pretty': But to capture them with inwardness & complexity is hard: You've done the latter for sure, this sings, the many tones are luscious, and the slight sheen on some of the edges is like jewels. You caught the rose in it's blooming-into-fullness state, and it's gorgeous. Beautiful work, and so fitting for the season. Wonderful holidays to you & all you love. I hope to be here more next year...
