Wow, what a backwater. If I remember right, that machine was overmatched by the end of 1915. But when did that stop the RFC from sending undertrained pilots into the air in outdated, obsolete aircraft? Great render!

fantastic work.
Buffalo1
Another great image of a lesser known WWI fighter. @PSDuck: The M1C was actually a fine fighter with a top speed of 130 MPH and the B model got high marks when it was test flown in France in 1917. General Trenchard of the RFC was a biplane man, so production was limited and the "C" model was only used in the Middle East and for training at home. Too bad as it would have given the Germans headaches.

i believe Buffalo1 is correct. a sadly neglected aircraft.

Here is a remarkable link http://www.werkost.com/M1C.htm for some splendid pictures of a reproduction. It must have been quite something to have merited such treatment. Where are the biplanes now? Have a good Christmas Geoff. I'll know each blank starter screen is really you at work on a "winter" secreted aircraft. Pristine snow is magic!

Indeed a neglected plane. Ahead of itstime. I've got the real thing posted in my gallery. Taken at RAF Hendon. Another fine 3 way. Thanks for 'digging' it up. Rob.
