Description

As promised, here is a grocery store where me and my honey went to last weekend in town. Seems like it was a facory of sorts at one time, or just innovative German architects at it again?never the less, it is a large store and cool design indeed.

Great images Mike.... It is amazing how you have to 'learn' how to shop again in a different country! :)

Everything is interesting when you're somewhere else! This is a great series of shots. Things look different, yet also familiar. Nicely done!

Does not look so unusual compared to some supermarkets in Texas small towns.

It's interesting how they stock the shelves. I can remember when stores like this were just coming into their own. Are you still able to go to a butcher shop and bakery?

Where are all the people?????? I know the economy is bad, but I pray they are able to buy food! Are you able to find the foods you enjoyed here State-Side? I remember when I lived it Thailand, I could never find cheeze, or at least any that were good, and so expensive! :{

Now, factory architecture for markets is the standard, a question of rentability about the cost for the construction and cleanliness post :-(
