Hi, there. I'm David from Juneau, Alaska. My wish is that my photos will inspire. I'm passionate about photography, and I teach a photo workshop here in Juneau in the summer. I love when other people discover that their photography is improving because I'm also passionate about photography as art. It's why I teach it. Don't ever be shy about asking for help with your photography whether it's from me or someone else. Thanks and God Bless, David

Wow, what a shot--I love bears, but only from a distance; they have a kind of aura about them that is powerful. Looking forward to this series!!

I too am fascinated by bears, they are amazing animals, i saw a couple of wild black bears in the Coast mountains and on the pacific coast of Vancouver island when i was there in 2007. Never got a good shot of any of them though.. Lovely photo !!

He is great. I was in Juneau several years ago. We did not see any bears but we did see whales and of course, eagles. You live in such a wonderful place.

Excellent focus and you did seem to get his hackles up.

He seems a little lean so I'd think this was early in the summer. Also, I would expect more cinnamon if it was warmer and during the middle of the year. I've seen a few but not so healthy and preoccupied as this one. Fabulous natural capture.
