Description

Anyone care to disembark? There are two empty lawn chairs just waiting for some occupants. I'm not too sure about those ominous looking red stains though, anyone else hear strains of "Deliverance?" :') Please, view full size for the best detail.

I think I will pass too. What a scene for a horror movie, yeah... Great job. Aloha and happy holidays.

Just goes to show you--a place with a little character and the Merkin Middle Classes think horror flick. My bet is that, if it's blodstains, it's catfish and gator. Folks here probably also know how to cook. Deliverance was a little like Red Dragon--penetrating the deepest fears, and also the deepest projections, of the white bourgeoisie. They were Bush's and the Republicans' most fervent supporters to boot, and the Bush and Cheney sho nuff whacked them upside the head real good. Course they'll think on it for a spell, and eventually blame the blacks and poor folk again likely. Poetic justice comes in every color of the rainbow.

What a wonderful image in all aspects! It does have a strange tone of sadness to it. Amazing work! :)

looks pretty cold for florida, what with the snow all over the trees.

Great shot, has that sense of desolation places get when they're not being used.

Like it Kort. I always have to stare at IR for a bit asking myself, OK, what's different and what's the same? BTW, the Georgia log cabin in my posts from the 15th and 16th of December is in Rabun County, Georgia...that is where Deliverance was filmed. Remember the odd, banjo playing kid? He's 52 now and washes dishes in a local restaurant. No kidding. Bill
