Description

Nothing special - Just a little image inspired by couple of old ("unpublished") V2 police officer images which I found when I was cleaning up my HD. Thanks to everyone who commented my previous pic ´:D About rendering: My earlier images were rendered using Lightwave (as stated in image notes). I switched to Poser (again stated in image notes) once I learned how to achieve the look I wanted. The look is achieved with a combination of my own shaders (material networks), proper lighting settings and some layering tricks. The skin shader draws ideas from following articles: o Hanrahan, P. & Krueger, W. "Reflection from layered surfaces due to subsurface scattering." o Eric P. F. Lafortune, Sing-Choong Foo, Kenneth E. Torrance, and Donald P. Greenberg. "Non-linear approximation of reflectance functions." o Donner C. & Wann Jensen, H. "Light Diffusion in Multi-Layered Translucent Materials." o Koenderink, J. & Pont, S. "The Secret of Velvety Skin." The shader used in patent, latex etc. surfaces draws ideas mainly from the LaFortune (et. al) article. Development of these shaders have taken quite a bit of my time and I would be heartbroken if my images still would look like out of the box Poser renders :P Poser 6. Layering, bluring etc. in PSP. V4 standard Daz Texture by DAZ (modifications and skin shader by me) Kyoko Hair Mk. II by Kozaburo Short Dress for Victoria 4 by Robynsveil, tping and Adrella (Texture by me) Handcuffs by Anthony Appleyard The rest - XTreme Nails 1, XTreme Pumps for V4.2 etc. (me@3DCommune) R

Thank you for answering my question to my previous comment on your last render. I look at the render and it looks way too clean for poser. Now that you said that you use custom shaders etc it all makes sense. P.S. I'm the same way with having renders straight from poser, fortunately I have photoshop hehe. Excellent job by the way.
