Description

I modeled Santa's Hot Rod in Wings3D. The model was very rough. The model was saved as an obj and then imported into Vue Pro Studio 6.5 where I positioned the model on a snowy terrain and applied a basic red texture to the sleigh. The Santa figure is a freebie from the Google Sketchup crowd... Santa was resized and fitted into the sleigh...The Vue render was then brought into Paint Shop Pro X2 Ultimate where I painted the sign post, penguin, sleigh details & engine, sleigh tracks, etc... The image was then brought into Painter IX and used as an underpainting... When I was finished painting in Painter the image was brought back into Paint Shop Pro where I applied some textures to the sign post, snow and sleigh.... The past year has been a blast at Renderosity... Merry Christmas... I hope Santa is good to you... Cheers Kenmo

"run, run reindeer" so good you have figured how to get all these disparate items to come together like a Santa's bag. ijack999 used to do this each year. Yours is newer and different.

What a hoot Ken, dig the Santa-Rod and that penguin is stoked, as a present has fallen off just for him ! You sure went through a lot of processes, but the end result is well worth the effort, mixed with the humour...very kool stuff ! Merry Christmas & ~Cheers~

I passed by some company and they had an old truck converted to tracks.I still kick myself for not stopping and taking a picture a fun render and cool modeling
