This is an impression of the rural surroundings of our hometown "Friolzheim" a few weeks ago.

The middle ground looks dramatic. Ummm...uhh is there a circus or menagerie near here? The foreground has mounds of either sod or some sort of oragnic matter partially covered by straw.

This is a fantastic shot. Love the distant tree line where the sky meets land in the background. Love the dark richness of the organic matter in the foreground too, especially with the vibrant contrast of the sun lit patch of grass a little further behind it.

Lovely. I have always felt right at home in rural Germany. We lived in a rural area near Ansbach for 1 1/2 years in the 70s. People all were very friendly and the countryside green and lush. Like your "TV". Bill
