Hi, during my journey to Canada, I took some photos with my Cannon 8.1MP. Is it nice or just a regular amature pic? (please be honest) Thank you :) Gal.

Who cares, as long as the memories it brings back are good, i was in the Canadian rockies in 2007 and took many photos. The forrests and mountains there are stunning ! I think this is a nice shot actually !

Hey Gal - Welcome to Renderosity!!! Hope you will have loads of fun on this awesome site!!! I love the composition of your image. It is really strong. If you have Photoshop or any other similar software, you could maybe do a little color correction to make the image pop a bit more. In saying this, I also agree with the top comment - as long as the memories are good!!! Hugs, Carin :)

...actually,I thought the composition was faulty....while the sloping skyline works well,the river could have been more prominent,alluding to where it goes,showing more of the bend...postwork,as Meisie mentions,is essential to almost all photography{my opinion}....anyway....you said be honest,and I'm no pro,Meisie knows more than I do,so it's just a thought...welcome to RR......Ray!

Welcome Gal to RR, and I really like your first upload, the composition to me is very good, I also agree with Carin a bit of postwork i.e. a bit color correction would enhance this shot...smile
