Description

I've made this as a gift for my Aunt for Christmas. So I pray she does NOT see this page! hahaha "GULP!" She adores butterflies...or..as she calls them, "flutterbys!" Hope you like I'm trying to win commissions for these and/or others like them. Happy Holidays everyone! Peace ~Kat xx

Nice, but too finicky for me, Kathleen, and not in my colour... ;o). I've seen a lot of young ladies with similarly decorated chains for their keys or their phones. Considering how small some of the mobiles are these days, I just cannot see the reason for it, unless, of course, it is in the name of 'Fashion'. This is much more tasteful than some I have seen. I have to fix broken rosary beads, at church, so use a pair of 3.5 strength reading glasses, in order to see which links / rings I am replacing. When I was a student I made a lot of costume jewellery, using amethyst, tigers-eye etc. The old two part glues, then, such as ARALDITE, were much better than the superglues we have to use these days. Butterflies were always a favourite subject of mine, and were requested, even for painted nails. However, on one occasion, I did get into serious bother, with my future father-in-law at the time, God rest him, over a butterfly, on St. Valentine's Day. A tale that will have to wait.. ;o) One more large crib to assemble for the church tomorrow, and then I get 24 hours of a breather, before family commitments pile up. As usual I am double-booked at least twice. Some of the saints were, apparently seen in two places at the one time. I wouldn't mind mastering that little trick!. Warm regards, Kathleen, and may you have a Marvellous Christmas, John.
