Longgggg-standing interest in photography, first class in high school in the 60's, but was too expensive a hobby until my first digital camera about two years ago. Now I'm more prolific. :-D I am BRAND NEW to computers, so any advice on image enhancements probably should wait until I learn how to click, double-click, and drag...
I enjoy taking landscape shots and shots with a historical context, especially around Kittitas County, Washington.
The portraits in my icon and homepage image were taken last winter by the woman who is known here at Renderosity as PumaWalkingSoftly (aka Windchime Photography), thanks Laura!

Looks like a view from my window in Syracuse. We really got hammered. Its that time of year to curl up with a good book and a mug of something nice and warm. Have a wonderful holiday ! Great pic..I love these shots you get from your porch!

This could be my folk's neighborhood in the northern Iowa - 8 inches of snow yesterday, with more on the way, and high winds tomorrow! Drive safe, and happy holidays!

Those pine trees are magnificent, and they need the moisture. We're not getting enough of it here. It doesn't melt, it sublimates. Our trees are being freeze-dried. Stay warm. You've almost got a shot for next year's holiday card. The power lines are almost as nostalgic as the snow-covered rooftops.
